It’s a known death sentence! So I can only assume that they are not doing so willingly but under threat of WORSE death by the Maduro Regime. Do you understand? I image the conversation or implication is “You will drive this boat to the United States and good luck to you we hope you make it, or if you refuse you will be tortured and killed here in Venezuela and given a horrific death.” That is the ONLY scenario in which I could envision any person would knowingly get aboard one of these boats at this point.
