This year, there was a viral trend on TikTok where people would make a certain face and show their profile, to see if they had a similar look to the Whos on How the Grinch Stole Christmas. You know, round cheeks, tiny little nose… they have a distinct look. I have been told I look a little like a Who before, but never the Grinch… so yeah, I would imagine that would sting a little. And in the spirit of Christmas, country music’s own Miss Megan Moroney shared that she had a boyfriend back in the day that threw an insult at her that has apparently stuck with her for many years. She recalled them getting into a fight, and he told her she looked like the Grinch. Moroney joked that the Whoville trend was hitting a “little bit too close to home” for her, and even though she didn’t love the comparison, she admitted that he might have been onto something: “Guys, I’m going to be so honest, I’m not live, laugh, loving this Whoville trend. It’s hitting a little bit too close to home for old girl. So once upon a time, me and my first boyfriend got into a fight, and he told me I looked like the Grinch. The mother******* Grinch. That will stick with you. So yeah, not a fan, but I’m gonna do it for you guys.
