Several Harley-Davidson dealerships are shutting down for good in 2025 after another tough year for the iconic brand.

The devastating closures come as a newly-appointed CEO tries to return the motorcycle brand to its core culture. The shakeups come as new brand CEO Artie Starrs tries to get the iconic motorcycle maker back on track after a rough 2024. Starrs began his tenure in October by reorganizing senior leadership, both bringing in new people to the brand and promoting employees to the C-suite. Shortly before Starrs took over, the Harley board also axed two of its longest tenured members. A Harley-Davidson dealership run by a couple and their daughter closed down in December after over 63 years of serving the Springfield, Illinois community.
