Vanna White gave fans a rare look at her personal life this New Year’s Day when she shared a sweet photo of her partner and two children. The iconic Wheel of Fortune host took to Instagram to post a virtual greeting card on January 1st. In it, she posed with her boyfriend, John Donaldson, her daughter, Giovanna “Gigi” Santo Pietro, and her son, Nicholas “Nikko” Santo Pietro. “Happy New Year from my family to yours!” she captioned. She has been with John, a real estate broker, since 2012. Nikko and Gigi largely stay out of the limelight and opted for careers outside of Hollywood. Nikko, 31, earned a bachelor’s in agricultural sciences from Oregon State University and worked for various farms and companies until he eventually became a successful real estate agent. Gigi, 28, studied photography at New York University and is now a tattoo artist at Lincoln Tattoo Company in Los Angeles. She notably gave Vanna White her first tattoo earlier this year. Vanna White and John Donaldson met when their mutual friend brought him to a barbecue Vanna was hosting, and they had an instant connection. “I remember looking at him and thinking, ‘He’s really cute,'” she told PEOPLE in 2019. “We ended up talking for a long time that night.” “It just works,” she added. “He lets me be me, I let him be him.
