The Red Clay Strays Celebrate 2025 & Look Ahead To 2026 In Heartfelt Post
It was certainly a year worthy of celebration for The Red Clay Strays.
If you ask me, the Red Clay Strays – consisting of Drew Nix (electric guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass), John Hall (drums), Sevans Henderson (keys), and frontman Brandon Coleman – have been breaking out for years now.
But many would likely say that 2025 was the band’s “we’re officially here” moment. They finally took home the Vocal Group of the Year award at the CMA’s, and they headlined the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater for the very first time (I was actually there for the first night, if you’d like to read about it).
All that and many other accomplishments had the band from Mobile, Alabama feeling very thankful. And since they are very partial to “moments,” they put together a post that highlighted their 2025 and the many things that happened to them as a band and in their personal lives:
“2025 has been a great year to us. Here’s a shuffle of some of the most memorable moments! Everything from pickle-juice pranks at Red Rocks to one of the sketchiest fights we’ve ever had. Llama Drama, Zach Top, and Joe Rogan.
Thank y’all for this amazing year, and thank you Jesus for the opportunities we have… We’re gonna work hard in 2026 to top this year and continue to put out good music for you guys. Happy New Year everyone!”
Personally, I can’t wait to see what the Red Clay Strays do in 2026. We already know that a new album is on the way (thanks to Joe Rogan), so we’ve got that to look forward to already. But before the band turned the page on 2025 and officially moved into 2026, they wrote out all of their “big wins” in their 2025-in-review post:
– Two sold out nights at Red Rocks
– CMA performance and win
– Tiny Desk Concert
– Joe Rogan and Bert Cast
– Headlined Under The Big Sky
– Toured Canada, Europe, and Australia!
– Sold out North American Tour
– CMA Fest and ACM’s
– Played with Willie Nelson.
– Andy got married! Brandon and Macie are expecting a child.
– Wanna Be Loved hit platinum. Moment of Truth hit gold.
– Released a single from our next album, and a collab song with NeedToBreathe.
– Sold out 3 nights in our hometown (Almost 30k tickets).
– 3/4 of a BILLION streams
There’s no other way to put it… the Red Clay Strays had a phenomenal 2025.
And they are such an easy group to root for, and the sky’s the limit for the Red Clay Strays. It’s been a whole lot of fun to see them take off and become household names like they have in the past couple of years, mainly because they deserve it in every way possible.
2025 was huge for them, and 2026 could be the year that sends them rocketing into the stratosphere (if they aren’t there already). If you call yourself a fan of the band, make sure to keep holding onto the rocket ship. If you aren’t a fan of the Red Clay Strays yet, I’d advise you to jump on and enjoy the ride. The post The Red Clay Strays Celebrate 2025 & Look Ahead To 2026 In Heartfelt Post first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
