Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) said he would “lean toward” voting to impeach President Trump if he ordered the seizure of Greenland from Denmark. Bacon made the remarks in an interview with the Omaha-World Herald. The Nebraska Republican called Trump’s statements about needing Greenland as “utter buffoonery,” Newsweek noted. “I’ll be candid with you. There’s so many Republicans mad about this,” Bacon told the outlet, according to Mediaite. “If he went through with the threats, I think it would be the end of his presidency,” he added. Rep.
