Candace Cameron married Valeri Bure in 1996 when she was just 20 years old. The pair will celebrate 30 years of marriage this year. As a young bride, she also became a young mother. She gave birth to her daughter, Natasha, in 1998, her son, Lev, in 2000, and her son, Maksim, in 2002.  Her oldest two children are now married, and she’s about to turn 50. Candace Cameron Bure reflected on her marriage during a recent episode of her podcast. She let fans know that things haven’t always been perfect for her and Valeri. “It’s definitely been a roller coaster,” Candace admitted. “Lots of highs and there have been some really low lows. And I know that during some of those low times—I wouldn’t even say it’s low, you’re just kind of like sitting in the shallow of the valley, where you’re like, ‘This isn’t the best, but that’s just life. We’ll just kind of go through it’—and again, you just feel stuck.” Candace Cameron Bure Understands That Marriage Takes Work Candace Camern Bure said that marriage isn’t easy, and sometimes, she and Valeri didn’t put in the work they needed for themselves or each other. “Val and I went through a really, really rough season in our marriage. And we were like, ‘I don’t know, don’t think…we’re gonna make it through,’” she told fans in July. “But at one point, Lev preached a 45-minute sermon on marriage to us.” Faith in God has always been paramount for Candace Cameron Bure in her marriage. Fans appreciate her candidness and could totally relate to her struggle. “Thank you both,” a fan shared. “I have faith that God has a husband out there for me. I’m a 44-year-old single woman who is patiently waiting. The dating world is challenging the older we get, but this is a good reminder to put ourselves out there.
