A PROMISE: President Trump Issues Denmark and NATO An Ultimatum On Greenland

President Trump just issued an ultimatum to Denmark and to NATO on Greenland…. And an old phrase comes to mind: This is not a threat, it’s a promise. President Trump brilliantly laid out his case for Greenland and he reminded every single world leader how the United States has consistently bailed out the world and especially Europe time and time again — with our money, with our troops and with our treasure. We have never asked for anything in return. We have almost entirely funded NATO, heaping debt upon American taxpayers to keep the rest of the world safe. But now we’re making one request: we intend to purchase Greenland. And Denmark and NATO have a very simple choice.  The ultimatum is simple and clear:  Either say yes, and we will be appreciative, or say no and we will remember. “We’ve never asked for anything else and we could have kept that piece of land and we didn’t sell. They have a choice. You can say yes, and we will be very appreciative — or you can say no and we will remember.” ICE COLD! And he said it right to all their faces! He even noted later on that many of these cowards were refusing to even look him in the eye during this speech because they’re weak and spineless. Watch here: ON THIN ICE: President Trump issues a firm warning to Denmark over Greenland, making it clear that the U.S. will remember if its request for “world protection” is rejected: “So we want a piece of ice for world protection, and they won’t give it.” “We’ve never asked for anything… pic.twitter.com/cLKp6qR7qH — Fox News (@FoxNews) January 21, 2026 Allow me to translate in case you’ve never seen The Godfather or The Sopranos…. We’re asking for one favor in return for the countless favors we’ve given you over the last 100 years. If you grant us that one favor, which will also greatly benefit you, we will be appreciative of it and our relationship can continue and become stronger. If you say no, we will never forget and we will NEVER be there for you in the future. When Russia or China come knocking on your door, or when Germany decides it wants to fight…..THE WORLD…..again in the future, don’t expect us to come and save you.  Because we won’t. Also, don’t expect us to stay in NATO, and that means you can fund it yourself — without our billions upon billions of dollars each year. In other words, good luck to you. Look, I’ll make it even simpler…. Have you ever played Risk? What is the toughest continent to control? It’s arguably Europe or Asia, but I would say Europe. It’s almost impossible to get that 5-troop bonus, until very late in the game. What’s the best continent to control? Australia is pretty easy with only one point to defend, but it also pays out the least with 2-troops. The best is almost universally considered North America, with two oceans shielding it and only 3 points to defend. Folks, we have the Gold Mine.  We always have. We simply need to stop giving away the gold, especially to people who do not appreciate us. Let them sink or swim on their own, and good luck to them.
