Television director Bruce Bilson passed away at his home on January 16, 2026 at the age of 97.(Photo Courtesy: Getty Images via https://www.thewrap.com/culture-lifestyle/culture/bruce-bilson-dies-get-smart-director/)He earned an Emmy in 1968 for Outstanding Directional Achievement in Comedy for the episode Maxwell Smart, Private Eye on the television series Get Smart.  He has directed over 400 television episodes to include familiar GenX shows such as: Barney Miller, Hawaii 5-0, Knight Rider, M*A*S*H, The Fall Guy, and several others.
