For decades, Super Bowl commercials have garnered as much attention as the big game itself. Millions will tell you that they tune in not so much for the football, but for the advertising and the laughs. Every year, major brands spend huge amounts of money to create a splash during the big game. This year, Pepsi did something hilarious with its Super Bowl ad, poking fun at Coke and one of 2025’s most viral moments. Coca-Cola has long used polar bears as part of their advertising, so that’s a subtle jab, but it gets better. We see the bear walking down the street, looking at all the people drinking Pepsi as Queen’s I Want to Break Free plays. The video culminates with the two polar bears enjoying a Pepsi and an embrace on a Jumbotron. It’s reminiscent of the Coldplay CEO scandal, but in this version, the polar bears rejoice rather than hide. The Pepsi Super Bowl ad debuted on social media, and fans absolutely love it. “I am so glad the marketing team for Pepsi are smart brilliant people . I needed this in my life. Let it be known, I am your biggest fan,” someone wrote. “great Ad lol the concert got me,” another person laughed. “The right way to use AI…well done, and pass me a Pepsi,” a fan commented. Some weren’t as crazy about the Pepsi Super Bowl ad and still think Coke is king. “This like burger king using an AI ronald mcdonald to wear a crown…bit cringe, shows who is number 2 tbh,” they wrote.
