‘American Idol’ Hopeful Shares Beautiful Story

One of the best parts of the American Idol auditions is learning more about their contestants’ lives outside of music. They come from so many walks of life, and their stories are as unique as their musical abilities. During the season premiere on January 26, we met several hopefuls, but one really stood out. Brooks Rosser, a 22-year-old singer, came to Idol from Harford County, Maryland. He works at Hart Heritage Assisted Living in the dementia care unit. Brooks explained that he grew up shy, but his grandmother was his biggest fan. Brooks’ “American Idol” Audition Blew the Judges Away Not only does Brooks have a unique voice, but his story is equally as special.
