Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, did something kind for Tennesseans still without power from last week’s historic ice storm. Nashville Electric Service reports that tens of thousands of customers remain without power, and there is no clear timeline for restoration. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee shared news of Elon’s donation of generators in a grateful post on Facebook. “Tennesseans without power need immediate help. I’m deeply grateful to Elon Musk & xAI for going above & beyond to support Tennesseans by donating hundreds of generators to fill the gap, and I value their continued partnership to solve problems and support communities across our state,” the governor wrote. Many Thanked Elon Musk for His Help While Elon Musk may never have to worry about losing power or going without, his gesture of goodwill meant a lot to many. They shared their gratitude on the governor’s Facebook page. “Thank you, Elon!!” Someone wrote. “Very generous donation,” another person shared. “A crucial part of this post should be how Nashvillians go about picking these up and then operating them.” Elon Musk’s help shocked some, but they truly appreciated him. “I hope this goes into the needed households!!!! I wasn’t expecting this from Elon. But I’m impressed to hear this!! I wish this was available for my mom’s house and myself, as our power was restored just Sunday after freezing so badly, then having to throw away a deep freezer full of well-picked out cuts of meat,” someone wrote. Others asked what they could do to contribute. “How can we help?
