Once again, President Trump is proving how much he truly cares for the safety and well-being of all American citizens — not just those who like him. President Trump has now ordered federal law enforcement agencies to send in all necessary resources to aid in the search for NBC anchor Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother, Nancy. Notably, Savannah Guthrie was incredibly aggressive and rude to President Trump during a town hall during his 2020 campaign. But, he is still sparing no effort help find Guthrie’s mom and re-unite her with her family. Trump reached out to Savannah Guthrie shortly after an interview with “NBC Nightly News” anchor Tom Llamas. The president assured the Guthrie family that every resource was available as needed. The president said he knew Savannah Guthrie is close to her 84-year-old mother, who was reported missing from her home outside Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday afternoon, after she did not show up at church. Savannah Guthrie thanked Trump for taking the time to call her family, adding that they were devastated and praying, Llamas said. She said that the family needs prayers more than anything. She also thanked the president for the hard work of local and federal authorities on the case. The FBI has already sent detectives to the local sheriff’s office to assist in the investigation: The FBI is now involved in the investigation, which also includes about 100 detectives from the sheriff’s office, and Trump said Tuesday he would commit to sending more federal agents to assist. After President Trump mobilized federal law enforcement, FBI Director Kash Patel immediately headed out to Tucson. The Hill has the latest update: Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing over the weekend after she didn’t show up to church Sunday morning near her home outside of Tucson, Ariz. She was last seen Saturday night at roughly 9:30 p.m. MST, when her family dropped her off after dinner. The next morning, when the 84-year-old did not show up at Sunday service, a church member alerted her family, who called police after searching the home. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, whose team is leading the investigation alongside the FBI, said officials believe Guthrie was taken from her home against her will in a “possible kidnapping or abduction.” Nancy Guthrie does not have dementia and has full cognitive function, the sheriff has said, though she has physical limitations and cannot walk more than 50 yards on her own.
