Police seize 15 kg of cocaine and $560K in N.B., Quebec raids targeting organized crime linked to Hells Angels
A remote garage east of Edmundston and a beige duplex in the northwestern New Brunswick city were among the sites police raided Wednesday as part of an interprovincial investigation targeting a suspected cocaine-trafficking network allegedly linked to the Hells Angels, according to Quebec provincial police.
More than 160 officers from multiple police forces searched 17 residences and 17 vehicles in the two provinces during the joint operation, led by the National Organized Crime Enforcement Squad, known by the French acronym ENRCO.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, the unnamed targeted organization is “active in cocaine distribution and territory management” to the benefit of Hells Angels biker gang chapters in Quebec.
