Satellite Capture’s Incredible Video of Earth’s Aura
Sometimes here on Earth, we take for granted what’s happening light-years away in space. We wake up every morning and go to sleep at night, without thinking about what we can’t see. Yet the Earth never really sleeps; it keeps spinning. Sometimes, satellites take incredible video. We can simply bask in the wonder of a world we don’t typically have a chance to see. The Earth’s Aura is truly stunning.
ABC News recently shared footage from the International Space Station that’s truly incredible.
“A stunning green aurora was seen rippling and pulsating from the International Space Station.‘The thin orange glow marks the edge of our atmosphere — a reminder that Earth is alive, protected, and glowing,’ NASA said,” according to the video’s caption.

The Earth‘s Aura Looks Positively Beautiful
Although this is a version of Earth we rarely see, we easily become entranced by its beauty. We’re used to seeing trees, grass, and water in our everyday lives. Seeing our world from a different point of view gives a whole new appreciation for how systems work together.
The video and music produce a truly stunning view of Earth. Followers loved what they saw.
“Earth is alive…protected…and glowing,” someone wrote.
“Look how beautiful,” another person shared.
This view of the Earth was a bit too much for some people who prefer to watch things from the ground.
“The Aurora creates depth which is so unsettling I can’t look at that my god,” someone wrote.
We love seeing Earth’s Aura from different points of view and marveling at creation. It takes so much for us all to exist. Just knowing that we’re a part of something so magnificent is truly humbling. We’re grateful for the chance to see our world anew. It helps us recognize how small we are in the grand scheme of things.
