Megan Moroney Announces Limited ‘Meet Me On Cloud 9’ Tour Run, Offering $9 Tickets

We are officially in the final stretch before Megan Moroney releases her third studio album, Cloud 9. With the album slated for a February 20 release, Moroney has released several songs from it already, including the lead single and radio hit “6 Months Later,” as well as “Wish I Didn’t,” “Beautiful Things” and, most recently, “Cloud 9” is the last song she’ll put out before the full album is released. Megan described “Cloud 9” as “for the lover girls,” and it’s a much softer, sweeter song than what we’ve heard from the tracklist thus far, which finds her very happily in love and higher than cloud 9. Fans have been loving this softer side of Moroney on the track, and they might be able to hear it live sooner than expected. Today, Moroney announced that she will be doing a limited run of shows ahead of her Cloud 9 Tour, stopping in 9 cities, 9 days in a row, starting on Cloud 9‘s release day. “9 CITIES IN 9 DAYS! starting next Friday… see u there?” View this post on Instagram Starting in New York City and ending in Scottsdale, Arizona, Moroney will make her way from the East Coast toward the West for a jam-packed nine days of touring. This limited-run series is the perfect way to highlight songs from the new record and will further build excitement for her more extensive Cloud 9 Tour. If you were excited to see that Moroney is coming to a city near you, there is another twist that makes this tour extra special. Tickets will be only $9. In the final slide of the Meet Me On Cloud 9 tour announcement, she shared that tickets will “be available at the box office beginning at 9:00 A.M. local time the morning of the event,” and will only cost fans $9. The exception to this is the final show in Scottsdale, which is marked as a free show with more information to come at a later date. For fans hoping to snag one of these $9 tickets, they will be limited to two per fan, and it is also noted that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Megan Moroney Foundation, supporting her initiative of mental health well-being and efforts to prevent bullying. Megan Moroney is celebrating the release of Cloud 9 in a very special way with this announcement.
