Shane Smith & The Saints And Tanner Usrey To Headline Taylor Sheridan’s Second Annual ‘Bosque Ranch Live’ Concert

Won’t want to miss this one. These days, it seems as if Taylor Sheridan simply never sleeps. After catching lightning in a bottle with Yellowstone back in 2018, he expanded the franchise tenfold with multiple spinoff series, including 1883 and 1923, as well as The Madison, Marshalls and The Dutton Ranch, which are all set to come out at some point this year. Of course, you can’t forget about Landman, starring Billy Bob Thornton, which has been another smash hit for Sheridan as well and even broke Paramount+’s viewership record upon season two’s finale back in January. From a country music perspective, both Yellowstone and Landman have made a massive impact one some of the best alternative artists in the genre today. Outside of the few mainstream acts, Yellowstone‘s soundtrack, in many ways, serves as a crash course on some of the biggest names in the independent/alt. country scene. In turn, it exposed many to what many (myself included) turn to when asked why country music is at its best place in history and introduced them to a completely different world that exists outside of the Top 40 on country radio. Dubbed (by us) as the Yellowstone Effect, there is data-driven proof that some artists saw MASSIVE exposure thanks to the show, The music featured in Yellowstone, in particular, has become so synonymous with the series that Sheridan launched his inaugural concert series at his 1,000-acre ranch in Weatherford, Texas, last year with Drayton Farley, Kaitlin Butts and Jackson Dean as headliners. And he’s running it back this year. Just announced by Billboard, Sheridan will hold his second annual Bosque Ranch Live concert on September 12th in Weatherford, Texas, with none other than frequently-included artists, Shane Smith & the Saints and Tanner Usrey as headliners. As for what to expect from the event, it will run from noon to 11 p.m. In addition to performances from the Saints and Usrey, the Yellowstone showrunner is introducing a speaker series, which will feature craftspeople who worked on the set of Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Landman and more. The speakers will include the likes of Emmy-winning costume designer, Janie Bryant, as well as Sheridan’s music supervisors, Andrea Van Foerster and Andrew Lockington. Additionally, prop master, Ian Roylance, and set decorator, Charla Curry, will be sharing behind-the-scenes stories behind the creation of various shows. In a statement to Billboard, Sheridan would express how excited he is to hold the concert series a second year, noting how much respect he has for country music and the way it connects to fans. “We are thrilled to be back for another year. As a storyteller, I have the deepest respect for the way country music connects with fans. I feel extremely lucky that Bosque Ranch Live has an opportunity this year to introduce our Speakers Series full of our wonderful crafts family.” Given the limited capacity at Sheridan’s ranch, attendance will be capped at only 700 people. With that being said, tickets are open to the public for purchase. General admission for the concert will cost you a hefty $500 and includes the concert itself, the speaker sessions and a signature Bosque Ranch gift. Other ticket options include a “Nic’s Bar & Saloon” tier for $800, which includes lunch, dinner and drinks prepared by Yellowstone‘s Chef Gabriel “Gator” Guilbeau. Additionally, multiple packages, which include an overnight stay in a gazebo, are also available now and can be purchased here. Before you go, fire up some of Shane Smith & the Saints and Usrey’s top tracks. “All I See Is You” “Come Back Down” The post Shane Smith & The Saints And Tanner Usrey To Headline Taylor Sheridan’s Second Annual ‘Bosque Ranch Live’ Concert first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
