Massive Snowstorm Turns East Coast into Magical Winter Wonderland
The East Coast of the United States got hit with a surprise blizzard earlier this week. The sudden snow canceled travel plans, closed schools and businesses, and wreaked havoc on drivers. But even with all the challenges, it’s hard not to fall a bit in love with the magical winter wonderland the East Coast has become over the last few days. Photos and videos from major cities show streets, sidewalks, homes, and buildings covered in white. We know it’s a few months after Christmas, but this is just the kind of thing Santa Claus adores.

The East Coast Winter Wonderland is Quite a Sight to See
ABC News shared photos of the East Coast winter wonderland, and some of the images are positively breathtaking. According to the news source, the snow slammed the region rather unexpectedly.
In many areas, the snow totals topped two feet, making it the most spectacular storm the region’s seen in quite some time.
“In New York City’s Central Park, a whopping 19 inches of snow has been recorded, the biggest snowfall in 10 years, while Providence, Rhode Island, is at 32 inches so far, its largest snowfall on record,” ABC News shared on Instagram.
People loved looking at the photos, but they admitted that they don’t need all that snow in their lives.
“Tt’s beautiful but I wouldn’t want to live in it,” someone wrote. “Stay safe and warm everyone.”
“Yet it’s 85° here in Arizona today! I’d rather be where there are seasons instead of just different levels of warm,” a fan agreed.
Others wish they could get in on the East Coast’s winter wonderland action.
“Love a good snow!!! Miss it so much living in Southern California,” another person shared.
“I would love some of this snow in the Treasure Valley in Idaho!!!” A follower added.
