Old School Moms – Vintage Snapshots That Prove Your Mother Always Knows Best

“It is not easy to give closeness and freedom, safety plus danger” – Florida Scott-Maxwell on being a mother in The Measure of My Days     What was you mother getting up to back in the day? “I was struck with the idea that the world would be better if we could gather all our favorite vintage photos of our moms and dads and admire them together,” says the founder of the excellent photo feed Old School Moms.  “It brings me joy to curate the feeds, and to get ‘new’ old photos DM’d to me by follower friends.” The snapshots are great, each bearing testament to the truism that mom always knows best. We begin this album of photos at the beginning with the snapshot (above) of mom playing tapes of Albert Einstein explaining quantum theory to the unborn you. We’ll then take a look at what happened next and end with, well, what became of her and all those hopes and dreams. Above all, these are stories of enduring love.         The post Old School Moms – Vintage Snapshots That Prove Your Mother Always Knows Best appeared first on Flashbak.
