This could’ve ended up deadly. A woman has been arrested after firing multiple rounds from a rifle at pop star Rihanna’s home. LAPD responded to a shooting outside of Rihanna’s home on Sunday, and the investigation revealed four rounds were fired into Rihanna’s multi-million dollar home. NBC News broke the story on the shooting and provided the following details: Pop star Rihanna was home when a women drove up and shot at her Los Angeles residence with an AR-15-style rifle Sunday, but no one was injured, police said. Four rounds or fragments hit parts of the property, Los Angeles police said. The woman believed to be the shooter was taken into custody. Her name was not released, and LAPD Capt. Mike Bland said in a statement that more information on the woman, including booking allegations, would be released Monday. The shooting was reported at 1:15 p.m. at the home the singer shares with hip-hop star A$AP Rocky just outside the city of Beverly Hills, the LAPD said. It wasn’t known whether A$AP Rocky or the couple’s children were home at the time. Representatives for the couple did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The suspect then sped off in a white Tesla, heading south on Coldwater Canyon Drive, according to the dispatch audio. As police searched for the Tesla, they relayed details over the radio: the suspect’s hair was in braids; she wore a cream-colored blouse; her car was dirty on the bottom, according to the Los Angeles Times. The suspect was later caught and arrested at a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks about 30 minutes after the 911 call came in, according to the Times. She has been described as a 30-year-old woman by the LA Times, other outlets describe her as a woman in her 30s. Some of those who live in the neighborhood heard the shots being fired. “I was just washing dishes in my house, and I heard shots,” Isabel Thorne told the Post. “I was a little shocked.
