Even though we know in our minds that Jason Voorhees is nothing more than a character, we can’t help but get a little freaked out if we catch someone in a white mask. Chipotle wants to help take the stigma out of Friday the 13th by offering free food. Of course, there’s a bit of a catch, but it’s a fun one for sure. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chipotle (@chipotle) Chipotle Will Offer Buy One Get One Free Entrees for One Hour on Friday the 13th The buy-one-get-one-free deal will only last for an hour at Chipotle on Friday the 13th, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. local time. “The BUY-ONE-GET-ONE (BOGO) promotion is limited to five free menu items per check and is subject to availability. Each free item requires the purchase of a full-priced entrée item of equal or greater value; there must be one tattoo-wearing customer for each free item. Tattoo can mean real, temporary, drawn-on, or another creative iteration invoking tattoos, as determined at the sole discretion of restaurant staff,” Chipotle explained on its website. Chipotle also advertised the Friday the 13th deal on social media, and fans are down to show off their ink. “So we come show our tattoos free chipotle? Bc I loveee me sum chipotle,” a fan asked. “So is it real? Show a tatt get a bowl,” another fan chimed in.
