In a recent segment, CNN analyst Harry Enten dove into new numbers from an NBC News survey, which show that 100% of people who identify as MAGA Republicans approve of President Trump. In fact, President Trump’s base has only grown bigger than it was last year! The New York Post noted: The poll showing Trump’s perfect level of support also found that 30% of Americans currently identify MAGA, up from 28% in November 2024. “The theme of this segment is ‘Tucker Carlson Be Darned,’” Enten said, referring to the conservative commentator who has been outspoken in his opposition to the Iran war – so much so that Trump recently declared, “He’s not MAGA.” “The bottom line is that the MAGA base within the GOP is not shrinking … If anything, it is slightly larger than it was back in 2024,” the CNN analyst explained. The polling, according to Enten, is indicative of just “how strong Donald Trump’s grip is on that MAGA base” is. In conclusion, MAGA is just as strong and as big as ever. People are not abandoning Trump. On the contrary — according to this poll, every person who voted for President Trump in 2024 is just as happy with him now as the day they cast their ballot.
