Costco CEO Makes Declaration Regarding Popular Food Court Combo
We don’t know about you, but we feel like everything is getting more expensive. Prices aren’t steadily increasing, instead, they feel like they double overnight. Families find themselves pinching pennies to make ends meet. Many of us shop at warehouse clubs to maximize our spending power. One of the best parts of a shopping trip to Costco is visiting the food court. Costco launched its famous hot dog combo in 1985 for $1.50, and the price has remained the same for 41 years. Many have speculated about when Costco will inevitably raise the price, and CEO Ron Vachris took to Instagram to announce it.

Ron Ordered a Hot Dog Combo While Visiting a Costco Store
In a video posted to Instagram, Ron Vachris ordered a $1.50 hot dog combo and sat down to enjoy it in the Costco food court. As he ate his lunch, Ron made an announcement.
“The hot dog price will not change as long as I’m around,” Ron said. “Amazing quality. Amazing value.”
Costco fans loved seeing the CEO sticking the company’s roots with no plans to increase the hot dog combo price.
“When you run the company, but you still know the best lunch in town only costs $1.50,” the video’s caption reads.
“He’s such a legend, and this is exactly why we love Costco,” a shopper wrote.
“A CEO who actually stands on value we appreciate you!!” Another fan added.
“Give this man anything he wants in the world. Protect him at all costs. Long live the grand overlord of Kirkland,” a Costco customer joked.
One person used the video as a chance to make their own request.
“Rob I know you’re reading this. For the love of all things sacred, please bring pack the Combo pizza for the people. I’ll pay whatever it takes,” they begged.
We might just head to Costco for a hot dog combo for lunch.
