A New York USPS mail carrier has been arrested after violently assaulting a 4-year-old Jewish boy. The incident took place in Monsey, NY. CCTV footage caught the whole thing on camera. Footage shows the young child walking towards the mail box, only for the carrier to shove him, knocking him to the ground. Neither his name nor his motive has been released. But, we do know that he is currently in police custody, and an investigation is underway. Local news outlet The Monsey Scoop provided the latest update. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 PM on Garden Terrace off Viola Road. A 4-year-old Jewish boy was innocently standing nearby, watching as the mail carrier delivered letters into a mailbox. Without warning, the situation escalated dramatically. The mail carrier began screaming at children in the area before turning toward the young boy. In a horrifying moment, the mailman punched the child and physically threw him to the ground, leaving those nearby stunned… UPDATE 3:10PM: The suspect in the shocking Monsey incident involving the assault of a 4-year-old child has been taken into custody by Ramapo Police. Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht confirmed he viewed the CCTV footage and described it as “very disturbing,” adding that authorities treated the case with extreme seriousness.
