So easy to read over it and not pause to let it sink in. Now read that again and realize how closely LIGHT and LIFE are intertwined. Who is the Light of the World? John 8 tells us: 12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” And from there, it’s almost impossible to not go to Colossians 1 where we learn not only does Jesus CREATE all things but also HOLDS all things together: 15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Ok, now with that background information fresh in your head, be prepared to be amazed… Because scientists have now captured the EXACT moment of conception and guess what they found? A flash of light at that very moment! Just a coincidence, I’m sure… Wow, wow, wow!
