RFK Jr. Warns Parents To Not Allow Children To Sleep With Their Phone Near Their Head

During CPAC over the weekend, Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a major warning to parents. During his CPAC speech, RFK Jr. warned parents not to let their children sleep with their cell phones next to their heads. Kennedy explained that cellphones produce radiation that can be harmful to a child’s brain. Watch Kennedy here: RFK JR: Parents, whatever you do, “DO NOT allow your children to go to sleep with a cell-phone next to their head!” I haven’t even put a phone to my head to talk for many years… I always talk on speaker now.https://t.co/GEMcoSHClw pic.twitter.com/2P26nsdAH2 — MJTruthUltra (@MJTruthUltra) March 29, 2026 This isn’t the first time Kennedy has made the warning. The Wall Street Journal rpeorted more on Kennedy’s claims: The Food and Drug Administration quietly removed webpages saying cellphones aren’t dangerous as the Department of Health and Human Services under Robert F. Kennedy Jr. launches a study on cellphone radiation. Kennedy and some of his allies have long pointed to cellphones as a potential source of illnesses including cancer. Many mainstream scientific institutions, including the FDA, previously concluded that there isn’t adequate proof to link health problems to cellphones or other wireless devices. A vocal group of scientists have said there is reason to worry and to take more precautions, and Kennedy has echoed their concerns. The FDA, which is part of HHS, had earlier said that “the weight of scientific evidence has not linked exposure to radio frequency energy from cellphone use with any health problems,” according to an archived version of one of the removed webpages. “The FDA removed webpages with old conclusions about cellphone radiation while HHS undertakes a study on electromagnetic radiation and health research to identify gaps in knowledge, including on new technologies, to ensure safety and efficacy,” said HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon, without providing details on who is running the study. The FDA website still contains summaries of the removed webpages, but the links to them reroute to a landing page describing the agency’s regulatory role. Kennedy, who for many years worked as environmental lawyer, successfully petitioned a federal court in 2020 to force the Federal Communications Commission to review its wireless-radiation rules. Kennedy has also represented plaintiffs who have sued telecom companies and alleged that their brain tumors were caused by cellphones. The group he chaired, Children’s Health Defense, has filed or funded lawsuits concerning 5G infrastructure, including an unsuccessful 2023 case that alleged that a cellphone tower caused an Idaho man’s heart problems. “Our children are swimming around in a toxic soup,” Kennedy told the podcaster Joe Rogan in 2023, suggesting one of the causes of chronic illness in children could be cellphones.
