Report: Discussions Held on Removing Attorney General Pam Bondi
CNN reported that President Trump is privately discussing removing Attorney General Pam Bondi due to her lackluster performance. However, this week, he called her a “wonderful person” and said she is doing a “good job.”
CNN reported:
President Donald Trump has privately mused about firing his Attorney General Pam Bondi and replacing her with EPA administrator Lee Zeldin, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
Frustrated by the backlash and anger in his base over the administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, Trump has asked people about replacing Bondi, who faces a deposition later this month on Capitol Hill related to the congressional investigation into the late sex trafficker, the sources said. He has also fumed that she hasn’t investigated enough of his political opponents.
CNN is mostly fake news, so it’s hard to know if this is accurate. However, Bondi is ineffective, and Lee Zeldin is a moral, honest, true conservative. I know that firsthand. He’s a fighter, and I think he could do a very good job in that role. He was a JAG (Judge Advocate General) officer and a paratrooper in wartime.
Additionally, Mr. Trump doesn’t want to go after political opponents. He wants people who tried to overturn the government with hoaxes to face accountability.
The information appears to have come from unreliable Kaitlin Collins, who sometimes gets it right. She said he’s displeased with her performance with the Epstein Files. Pam Bondi is testifying on April 14th. We might see some action then.
