Morgan Wallen Thanks Fans For All Of Their Support On Night 1 Of ‘Still The Problem’ Tour: “I Want Y’all To Know How Much That Means”

The biggest country tour of the year is officially underway. Last night, Morgan Wallen kicked off his 2026 Still The Problem Tour in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a packed out U.S. Bank Stadium, where he took some time to reflect on this insane journey he’s been on, telling the crowd how excited he was to be back on stage in front of his fans: “We took a few months off after tour last year. Whenever I walk out and there’s a welcome like that, I always ask ‘Why did I take so many months off?’ But it’s been good for me, good for my band, good for my team. I feel like we’re ready to do it again this year. I appreciate y’all for being the first night on the ‘Still The Problem Tour.’ We’re gonna sing quite a few songs tonight. I tried to switch up the setlist a little bit this year – I hope y’all enjoy.” Before playing “Cover Me Up,” Wallen introduced longtime guitarists Tyler Tomlinson and Dominic Frost to the crowd, saying they’ve played everywhere together way before he was the massive country star you see today, and he noted that those days “don’t seem that far in the past.” He wanted fans to know how much it means to him to have their support, saying one of his favorite parts of the show has become to look people in the eyes and say “thank you”: “These boys have been with me a long time. We started off playing everything they wanted us to play… There’s pretty much not a venue in the United States that we haven’t played at this point. Those days don’t seem that far in the past, and to know that I’m going to walk out into a stadium of people who know all these songs, who believe in these songs, who believe in me – I just want y’all to know how much that means. So for the last few years, I’ve been making it a point to look you in the eyes and say thank you. It’s become one of my favorite parts of the show.” It really is incredible to look at the trajectory of his career in a relatively short amount of time. I mean, I remember listening to his debut album If I Know Me back in college circa 2018, me and my little friends were big fans at the time and I’d say we were onto something even if he’s not number one on my playlist now… it feels like just yesterday in many ways,. I’m not going to tell you how old I am now, but you can do some simple math… Morgan will play another sold-out show in Minnesota tonight, and yesterday, he also of course brought back his signature walk out, this time strutting to the stage with Vikings legend and newly-minted Pro Football Hall of Famer Jared Allen, which thrilled the Minnesota crowd. But before that, Morgan displayed a funny pre-recorded video featuring his friend and comedian Theo Von: @tkovac @morganwallen – Still the Problem – Minneapolis Night #1 – April 10th!
