WNBA Players Lose it When Country Superstar Drops into Practice

The Indiana Fever’s practice got a bit hotter recently when a surprise guest walked through the door. The WBNA team had no idea he was coming, and guard Sophie Cunningham admitted she lost all focus when Blake Shelton walked in the door. The Grammy Award-winning artist dropped by while he was in Indianapolis. Blake recently announced his Ole Red bar and music venue will open in Indianapolis in 2027. He decided he might as well start to meet some of the town’s most impressive athletes while he was there. The FEer posted video from the event, and both sports and country music fans loved what they saw. “Does this mean I have to share my courtside seats with @blakeshelton now?” Wynonna Judd joked. “Really cool, character off the chart for both and fan of both. Great post Fever,” another fan wrote. One WNBA fan pointed out how important this time in sports history is for women, and Blake Shelton’s support means a lot. “In years and decades to come people will be looking back at the way you all changed the face of women’s sport. Meanwhile we have a front row to it unfolding right now. Awesome!” They wrote. Others let the girls know that Ole Reds sneaks up on you, so they better look out in 2027. “Fun!
