Rainey Wilson… sorry, I had to. Lainey Wilson headlined New Orleans Jazz Fest in her home state of Louisiana over the weekend, and it turned out to be quite an event from a weather perspective, as Lainey’s set ended up being pretty dramatic with a torrential downpour taking place while she was onstage. She shared photos from the show, where you can tell just how wet she got while she was out there, and it’s impressive they were even able to keep going considering all of the equipment they had and things of that nature. Whenever I see performances like this, I always think of the Goo Goo Dolls’ iconic performance from Buffalo in 2004, and the rain just makes it look so much cooler for some reason: “Lain or shine..
