Shania Twain Announces New Album ‘Little Miss Twain,’ Releases New Single “Dirty Rosie”
Little Miss Twain is coming soon.
Today, country music legend Shania Twain announced her new album will be out everywhere on July 24th, which is her first full-length album since 2023’s Queen Of Me.

Shania is also set to host her first-ever ACM Awards show this coming Sunday, May 17th, and she says this new project will combine some of her favorite genres in country, pop, rock, soul, and bluegrass, and it’s a sort of nostalgic look book on the music that inspired her teen years:
“A lot of Little Miss Twain is reflective of my teens, my roots as well as the energy of the rock and R&B I loved so much, but still with that Western twang. Where I’m from you don’t go anywhere on a horse — you go on a snowmobile.
I was dreaming about the Western lifestyle and I was living in a very different world than where I ended up.”
Shania of course perfected the pop country sound of the 90s with hits like “You’re Still The One,” “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” “From This Moment On,” “Any Man of Mine” and many, many more. She saw unprecedented crossover success, a defining attribute of her career, and she ultimately became the first artist to ever release three consecutive Diamond-certified albums.
Ahead of this release, Shania will also join British pop star Harry Styles for a massive 12-night stand at London’s Wembley Stadium, opening every single show for him. They previously performed together at Coachella in 2022 with renditions of “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and “You’re Still The One” going mega viral, so I’m sure they’ll probably do some more songs together for fans attending those shows. Shania will follow the London shows with a special one-off headlining performance in Ireland, at Limerick City’s Thomond Park Stadium.
When Shania released her album Now in 2017, it ended a 15-year break from releasing music, and she followed it in 2023 with the aforementioned Queen Of Me, which I’ll be honest, missed the mark for me in terms of being on par with the rest of her iconic catalog. I mean, Shania was a massive part of my childhood, I’m a mega fan of her music, but the music just didn’t do it for me, though I did see her on that tour and it was incredible.
In addition to announced the new record, Shania released the lead single called “Dirty Rosie,” which definitely feels in line with a lot of the songs on Queen Of Me, and doesn’t necessarily make me excited for the rest of the tracklist, but music is obviously very subject and I’m sure plenty of her fans will love it, and she looks absolutely incredible.
Shania is an icon, she has earned the right to put out whatever kind of music she wants, and it sounds like this is going to be a very personal album so I’m certainly willing to give the rest of it a chance when it’s released in July.
