No Collab? Why Morgan Wallen Was Connected To Drake’s New Project

No Morgan Wallen and Drake collab yet… but Morgan’s still part of the new album. Today, Drake released his new album Iceman, which features a cover where Drake is wearing what is reportedly one of Michael Jackson’s actual gloves, which Drake purchased for over $120,000. That honestly sounds like a steal to me, and I guess we’re just letting anybody buy whatever these days and I am not here for the cover at all, I know it’s supposed to be a tribute, but still… I would liken it to the insanity when Kim Kardashian wore one of Marilyn Monroe’s actual dresses to the Met Gala. Like, it’s just wrong… in my humble opinion Drake and Michael Jackson should never even be in the same sentence, but I digress… View this post on Instagram Back to Morgan Wallen. For a while now, fans have thought that a collaboration between these two was coming. Back in 2023, Morgan appeared alongside the rapper in his “You Break My Heart” music video. And last year in Houston, Drake made an appearance with Morgan for his now-famous “Broadway Girls” walkout during a stop at NRG Stadium on his I’m The Problem Tour: @tickpick The best walkout he’s ever done #tickpick #tickets #morganwallen #drake #houston #imtheproblem #walkout #countrymusic #houstontx ♬ original sound – TickPick Then last September, Drake threw more fuel on the burning rumors of a collab between the two when he wore a Morgan Wallen jacket on stage during a show in Berlin: View this post on Instagram And a recent photo posted to Instagram by frequent Drake collaborator Octavian appeared to show Morgan at the rapper’s Texas ranch: Btw Morgan said he was recording new music while in "hibernation" But he was on Drake's ranch during this break…could they have recorded multiple songs and a music video? https://t.co/tISdW2sXAo — Morgan Chart Updates (@MorganChart) April 20, 2026 And when Iceman was announced, there were tons of leaks that it would feature a song with Morgan called “Cold Nights.” But that’s not the case, though he does shout-out Morgan on a song called “White Bone.” Drake ended up dropping three albums yesterday, and on HABIBTI, the song “White Bone” features a verse that mentions Drake and a girl taking a trip to see Morgan in Las Vegas: “Goin’ to see Morgan, cowboy boots, rhinestones Giddy up, cowgirl, Las Vegas timezone” So that must have been what all the predictions were about… and who knows, it’s highly possible that a song or something like this is still coming between Drake and Morgan. I have my suspicions that they likely cooked up something when Morgan was at Drake’s Texas ranch, and maybe it will be released on some sort of Morgan project instead, if it even does really exist. Many of Morgan’s fans think Drake could be featured on “Interlude,” which writers have since confirmed is part of a longer song called “Wrong Way.” Between Drake being the highest-selling artist of all time with over 298.5 million units sold in the U.S., according to the RIAA and Wallen himself continually breaking Billboard records and dominating the charts, a crossover between the two would no doubt be a giant success (and piss off a ton of people). And if it finally happens, you gotta think 2012 Morgan Wallen would be pretty pumped: Over here on this drake — morgan wallen (@MorganWallen) January 2, 2012 I think patience is the key here… given the excitement around a potential collab that hasn’t even been announced yet, you have to imagine they’re going to oblige the fans and give them what they want sooner or later. “You Break My Heart” Morgan will head to Gainesville, Florida for two shows this weekend. ‘Still The Problem’ Tour Dates May 15 || Gainesville, Fla. || Ben Hill Griffin Stadium w/ Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King May 16 || Gainesville, Fla. || Ben Hill Griffin Stadium w/ Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King May 29 || Denver, Colo. || Empower Field at Mile High w/ Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, Vincent Mason May 30 || Denver, Colo. || Empower Field at Mile High w/ Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Vincent Mason June 5 || Pittsburgh, Penn. || Acrisure Stadium w/ Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King June 6 || Pittsburgh, Penn. || Acrisure Stadium w/ Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King June 19 || Chicago, Ill. || Soldier Field w/ Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King June 20 || Chicago, Ill. || Soldier Field w/ Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King June 26 || Clemson, SC. || Clemson Memorial Stadium w/ Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, Jason Scott & The High Heat June 27 || Clemson, SC. || Clemson Memorial Stadium w/ Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Jason Scott & The High Heat July 17 || Baltimore, Md. || M&T Bank Stadium w/ Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, Jason Scott & The High Heat July 18 || Baltimore, Md. || M&T Bank Stadium w/ Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Jason Scott & The High Heat July 24 || Ann Arbor, Mich. || Michigan Stadium w/ Thomas Rhett, Hudson Westbrook, Blake Whiten July 25 || Ann Arbor, Mich. || Michigan Stadium w/ HARDY, Hudson Westbrook, Blake Whiten July 31 || Philadelphia, Penn. || Lincoln Financial Field w/ Brooks & Dunn, Hudson Westbrook, Blake Whiten August 1 || Philadelphia, Penn. || Lincoln Financial Field w/ Ella Langley, Hudson Westbrook, Blake WhitenThe post No Collab?
