Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) made it clear on Thursday that he would not be surprised to see more damaging information come out about Maine’s Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner. Fetterman, when asked whether he was “concerned” that Platner might be at the center of additional scandals, pointed out the fact that Platner — who assured Senate Democrats earlier in the week that there would be no additional allegations against him — had been dishonest about some of what had already been revealed. So he’s already lied about that.” “So I assume, you know, it’s like they say, for every ranch you see in Texas, there’s 50 that you haven’t seen. So I’m sure there’s plenty — a lot of more ranches in P-Hustle’s life,” Fetterman added. Platner, who went by the name “P-Hustle” on Reddit, has been the center of several scandals, ranging from his now-covered Nazi-inspired tattoo to sexually explicit text messages sent to several women while he was married. He has also faced backlash for a number of comments he posted on Reddit — some of which were vulgar and at least one in which he mocked and derided a wounded combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient. The Maine Democrat, who was leading Gov. Janet Mills (D-ME) in the primary before she suspended her campaign, is set to face off against incumbent Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) in November.
