Leftist influencers appear to be bracing for another Graham Platner scandal, preemptively warning their fan bases not to buy into the next shoe to drop. Platner is the embattled Democratic Senate candidate seeking to unseat Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME). His campaign has been rocked by a series of personal scandals in recent weeks. The Maine Senate Democratic candidate recently made a trip to Washington to rally establishment support as a wave of opposition research uncovers personal misconduct and raises questions about his suitability to serve in the U.S. Senate. “I’m not confident of anything,” Sen. Sanders (I-VT) said when asked about potential new Platner revelations. “I didn’t get any assurances, alright, we got other things to worry about right now. We’re worried about massive income and wealth inequality and a corrupt campaign finance system.
