“He’s A Thug” – President Trump Issues Statement On Graham Platner After Senate Primary Victory

President Trump said Graham Platner, who won the Maine Democratic Senate primary on Tuesday night, is probably “worse than any human being that’s ever run for office.” “He’s a thug,” Trump said. “He’s worse than any human being that’s ever run for office, probably,” he continued. “He’s a thug. I know thugs. I had to deal with thugs. I built a lot of buildings. I dealt with the toughest people on Earth. I dealt with worse than thugs. This guy’s a thug. He’s a low-level thug,” Trump added. Check it out: Trump on Platner: He's a thug . H's worse than any human being that's ever run for office, probably. Nobody's ever had a record like that. Schumer goes crazy over Epstein. Why aren’t they talking about him? This guy's got a rap sheet. He's a thug. I know thugs. But recent revelations of a sexting scandal and reports of misconduct with several ex-girlfriends have rattled his campaign. Platner has denied any claims of physical roughness with girlfriends. Trump slammed the Democrats for not talking enough about the allegations against Platner. Trump went on to call Platner a “pig.” “He’s like a pig. That’s what he reminds me of,” Trump said. “I come up with good names for people. I don’t want to stick him with that one, although I think pigs would be very upset about it,” he continued. Sen. Susan Collins' allies preview 'the end for Graham Platner' in Maine Senate war https://t.co/GPyRYCH36U pic.twitter.com/aR0dug8ub0 — New York Post (@nypost) June 10, 2026 More from the New York Post: Allies of Sen. Susan Collins wasted little time gearing up for a bruising battle with oyster farmer Graham Platner now that he has officially clinched the Democratic nomination for Senate. Eager to defend the critical Senate seat that could be instrumental in determining the balance of power in the upper chamber, Collins’ allies lashed out at Platner over his many scandals. “Today marks the beginning of the end for Graham Platner. He will be exposed, his agenda destroyed, and Mainers will reject him,” Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee, declared on X. “No amount of DC Democrat support or left-wing billionaire backing will save him.” The NRSC released a quick video juxtaposing Collins’ lengthy legislative record with Platner’s baggage. “Graham Platner delivers scandals. Susan Collins delivers results. In Maine, the choice is clear,” the NRSC declared. Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee slammed Platner as a “sick and deranged person.” What are your thoughts? TAP HERE TO ADD YOUR VOTE
