Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey To Open A Distillery & Alan Jackson Museum In Downtown Nashville
Sip some whiskey while taking a tour through AJ’s life and legendary career.
Alan Jackson is gearing up to perform the last concert of his career, the one-night-only Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 27. The star-studded sendoff will feature special guests including George Strait, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Cody Johnson, Riley Green, and many, many more as Alan brings his legendary career on the road to a close.
Of course Alan will still have a presence in downtown Nashville: His AJ’s Good Time Bar opened in 2016 and still serves as one of the only artist bars on Broadway that plays only country music, a classic honky tonk reminiscent of a time before massive venues took over downtown Music City.
But just in time for his final show, Alan will be expanding his presence in Nashville, with his Silverbelly Whiskey announcing this week that they’ll be opening a distillery and museum later this month.
Opening June 25, Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery will not only serve as a place for fans to witness the whiskey going from “barrel to bottle” as the premium spirit is blended, proofed, bottled and labeled onsite. And after you get a taste of that sweet Silverbelly, visitors will also be able to tour the brand new Alan Jackson Museum, which will feature extensive displays and memorabilia chronicling Alan’s journey from Newnan, Georgia to one of the greatest artists in the history of country music.

Speaking on the museum, Alan’s longtime manager Debbie Doebler says it will present a new way for the country music legend to connect with his fans long after he steps off the road:
“For over four decades, Alan has had an amazing career where his music has told stories of his life, creating the foundation of the legacy that we’re excited to share with his fans. We’re proud to be creating a new way for Alan and his music to be part of all that Nashville offers to residents and visitors alike, day-in and day-out.”
And Silverbelly Whiskey CEO Robbie Goldsmith expressed his excitement to give the local brand a permanent home in the heart of Music City:
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Alan Jackson’s local, Tennessee-made Silverbelly Whiskey to downtown Nashville. This is a truly unique setting and opportunity for people to get into the ‘spirit’ of what country music and Music City are all about.”
The distillery and museum will be located at 121 3rd Avenue, just across the street from Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up bar and in the former home of Show Pony (and before that, Johnny Cash Bar & BBQ).
Luckily for fans who are in town for Alan’s final concert, the venue will be open in time for you to be among the first to check it out, and tickets are already available on the museum’s website if you’re interested in visiting (and sampling a flight of Silverbelly Whiskey) while you’re in town.
Alan is obviously one of the greatest country singers of all time, and personally he’s on my Mount Rushmore of country artists. His downtown bar is already one of the few I’ll actually go to on Broadway these days, so it’s great that he’s expanding his presence in the heart of Music City even more to preserve his legacy long into the future.
Can’t wait to check it out – and sample some Silverbelly. The post Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey To Open A Distillery & Alan Jackson Museum In Downtown Nashville first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
