It used to be you could go see a movie and it could just be a fun movie…a summer blockbuster. Something like Jaws or Jurassic Park. Fun. Big. Entertaining. Now it seems like every movie is pushing a narrative, and if you don’t get the “Netflix-wants-to-turn-you-gay” narrative, it looks like you’ll get the Steven Spielberg “aliens are real” narrative. Because here’s the latest, and quite frankly I’ve been warning you about this for a long time…. Beginning in 2015, I told you they would eventually roll out the aliens, tell you they are real, and that will be the final card they need to play to distract the public. People thought I was crazy back then….but now?   Now they don’t laugh anymore. Um, but and I wouldn’t call that science fiction. I called it science speculation. Whenever Harrison was on a horse, it made me wistful for, for wanting to direct a full western, a real western. We are interrupting our coverage. How will disclosure change us? I believe for the better. Speaker 2 Thank you so much for doing this. Uh, I, I’m a fan of, I was always a fan of Richard Schickel, including his interviews with you. Speaker 1 So was I. Speaker 2 And I, I know from those interviews how you often viewed, I think, The Color Purple as a kind of turning point for you where you began making films about quote unquote more serious or, or darker material. And so I wonder if this, this movie is in some ways, I tend to see it as a, a return to some of the subject and material that drove you as a younger filmmaker. Maybe some of the wonderment, but made by the filmmaker who’s made all those movies since. Uh, how would you describe it? Speaker 1 Well, it’s, it’s hard for me to describe it in, in, in those terms. It’s easier for me to describe it as, um, you know, my first film that will be, you know, considered science fiction that I do not consider to be science fiction. You know, it’s much more reflective of the world as it is evolving and discoveries that are being made as we speak. Speaker 2 Well, just to take aliens out of it for a second, I was moved by how much your film is about empathy and seeing directly into someone’s eyes. Speaker 1 Yes. Speaker 2 Uh, I, you open the movie with American flags, little American flags. I, I, I’m curious if there’s something about American life today that drove you to, to tell a story about empathy. Speaker 1 Well, you know, I think every movie should have a, have great emphasis on empathy because empathy sometimes feels like it’s in short supply. Uh, we all have it. Sometimes we’re, we, we can’t use it. Uh, um, sometimes it’s not allowed to be used if you want to, you know, stay aligned with, uh, you know, your friends and your belief systems, but, um, but I think empathy is, is there for all of us. I certainly think we all have it for our children, we all have it for our friends, we just sometimes don’t have it for each other. And, uh, and so I, I thought that disclosure day could be a, a way to talk about that. Speaker 2 The, was it 2023, all those, uh, videos, uh, uh, came out of different possible encounters with UFOs, Navy videos. How, how did you respond when you first saw those reports? Speaker 1 It was really 2017 when the New York Times came out with the story where they, basically a whistleblower had, had given them the FLIR footage of the tic tacs and, uh, that were, that were moving anti-ballistically through the air against, you know, you know, 120 mph headwinds and doing things that were impossible for any conventional aircraft to fly. And, and that’s where, you know, that’s where for me all the reports and all the UFO flaps in the ’50s and the ’60s and the ’70s and the ’80s, from Roswell in 1947 to the, the alleged abduction of Betty and Barney Hill in the 1950s, and to the Pascagoula incident, and to then the Ariel School in Zimbabwe that John Mack from Yale did extensive interviews and research about. And all the documentaries that have been made, and suddenly, uh, uh, uh, Congress is talking about it and senators are asking questions and, uh, you know, there, there, there are, the subcommittees are being convened. And in 2023, it was the House Intelligence Committee had hearings where they interviewed, uh, Grush, Fravor, and Graves, um, who, who were basically blowing the whistle on, on, on things they knew that, uh, they thought it was time to speak under oath to both Congress and the American people. And that really turned everything on its head. Speaker 2 So there was no epiphany for you necessarily. I believe it was maybe an ongoing kind of revelation. Speaker 1 Yeah, I, I, I, look, I’ve been a believer since I made Close Encounters 50 years ago. Um, but and I wouldn’t call that science fiction. I called it science speculation. When I did press on Close Encounters, I refused to call it science fiction. But I, I, I, I was certainly a believer of life elsewhere. But I was, I would always say, until I see a UAP or a UFO with my own eyes, I’m not going to categorically state that there’s proof that life from out there has come here. But I, that I have changed that because I’m now willing to, to change my mind because of the circumstantial evidence, which is overwhelming. Speaker 2 There’s a great deal in this movie about faith, and a lot of it because that’s what it would shake up. And, and I, I, my impression is that your faith in filmmaking is as strong as ever despite the concerns people have. Uh, what, what, what gives you, despite industry changes, despite AI, despite all the things that make people fear the doom and gloom in the movie industry, what gives you the faith in the movies? Speaker 1 The audience gives me the faith, faith in the movies. The, uh, I, the audience that after COVID started to trickle back into movie theaters. And, and, and, and even though the numbers are still not pre-COVID level numbers for any films that are being released now, they, it’s, it’s robust, more than it has been in, in many years. And the audience gives me belief that people still want to congregate in a, in a dark space, you know, and in the company of strangers, to share an experience of, of a film that is made by storytellers. And, and that gives me faith to continue making films. I’m, I’m not against streaming. I’m not against movies made for, for streamers. I support that, you know, and I’ve made movies for streamers. I haven’t directed one yet, but I, I support that. But I am of the firm belief, which is why we released Hamnet in movie theaters and not on, on, on a, on a streaming platform, because I believe there was an audience for Hamnet that needed to share that grieving together in, in a comm, in a, in a, in a form of communion. And, and I thought it would be a more healthy experience to have that in a movie theater than on a streaming platform. Speaker 2 I think people will say the same about disclosure day. It, from the moment the hail turns to the, uh, cereal falling into the bowl. I feel like it’s, it’s just, it’s a grammar that is only yours. Speaker 1 I love that you caught that. That’s great. Thank you. Speaker 2 Well, of course. I mean, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s maybe the first moment we know it is you making this movie. Speaker 1 The, uh, I, so, those are Froot Loops. Froot Loops. My favorite. Speaker 2 I, I have spoken, spoken to, uh, Marty Scorsese before about around when he was turning 80, he started to think, “How many more do I have?” Speaker 1 Yeah. Speaker 2 I’m guessing that’s not your mentality. Speaker 1 I never think about how many more I have. It’s just, I’m just hopeful that I will be, you know, inspired, uh, when something comes along as I was with disclosure day, and I, as I was with Fabelmans, and as I was with West Side Story before that. I’m just hoping that, that, that a subject comes along, and I, I always have something in development, but a subject comes along that grips me as tightly as disclosure day did so I can go on and make another movie. Speaker 2 I, I, I think there could be something about a character who is just compelled, almost out of body, towards some action. There’s Emily Blunt in this movie, but, you know, Richard Dreyfuss in Close Encounters. I, I wonder if that’s a type of character that you maybe identify with, if film is something almost like, like it is for, for them, for, for you. Speaker 1 Well, I identify with characters who aren’t afraid of mysterious things happening to them and who are fighting for their survival by trying to discover what they don’t know. And Emily Blunt’s character and Josh O’Connor’s character, Margaret Fairchild and Daniel Kellner, uh, are having things happening to them in real time that, that they can’t explain. And they are desperate to find out what’s the matter, and that sort of fuels a lot of the story. Speaker 2 I, I spoke to David, uh, uh, yeah, around when you had just finished production on this, and he was sort of buzzing from the experience. He had never seen, he said that for a guy who’s always extremely engaged, you were engaged in a way on this that he had never seen you before. Did, did you feel that way? Speaker 1 Yeah. I, I would never let David sleep on this thing. He got more notes from me on his phone than I’ve ever sent to anyone in my life. And because David loves the process, he loves the fact that, you know, we don’t sculpt, and then we don’t sculpt in steel. We, we sculpt in, and in, and in warm, wet clay, and it’s always moving and changing and evolving. And because David is so hungry to continue to discover what is not, you know, what is not, um, you know, uh, you know, sacrosanct, and, and because of that, he’s just a perfect partner for me to write with. Speaker 2 It, it’s a wonderful collaboration you two have, and I, I, I think that what you’re describing of, of that kind of curiosity is obviously in you and in this movie. Did, did, uh, I, I, it’s a bold way that you end it. I would say it’s really, uh, enthralling. I think, I feel like you are, you are hoping to start a conversation with this movie. Speaker 1 I am. I’m hoping to have people have a conversation, to think about it a lot, even perhaps see it again. I’m not talking about commercial reasons to see it again. Because there are so many questions people are going to have coming out of disclosure day, and by seeing it again, they are going to get some of those questions asked, but not all of them answered. But not all of them. And I just want to start conversations about this subject. Speaker 2 I’ll be seeing it again with my daughters, that, uh, for… Speaker 1 How old are your daughters? Speaker 2 10 and 13. Speaker 1 Oh, that’s a good age. Old enough. That’s a good age. Speaker 2 Yeah, they, they love you, by the way. Speaker 1 Thank you. Speaker 2 But I would say there’s also real admiration for what a whistleblower is in this film. Uh, I, I mean, uh, uh, I, tell me about that. What, what, what interests you about whistleblowers? They have been foundational to many of the biggest news stories of the past 10 years. Uh, what draws you to, to a character who is, you know, essentially a whistleblower? Speaker 1 Well, because a whistleblower is risking, risking everything. They’re risking their careers. They’re risking gainful employment. They’re risking their reputations. And there, some, some of them risking their lives. Speaker 2 The, I, I, I think I’ve heard you talk about a western being what you want to… Speaker 1 Well, I would like to do a western, and I’m working on one right now. I don’t have any, you know, I, I can’t talk too much about it, but it’s a genre that I’ve always loved. And, um, I, I always feel that parts of the Raiders adventure movies are like westerns. Whenever Harrison was on a horse, it made me wistful for, for wanting to direct a full western, a real western, whenever Harrison was riding a horse. Speaker 2 I, I, I think it’s probably, uh, surprising that you haven’t, in a way, that… Speaker 1 Yeah, me too. Speaker 2 I think of your, every time I take a photograph, I think of your John Ford’s story about the horizon. Uh, well, that’s a true story. Speaker 1 Yeah, it’s in The Fabelmans. He said that to me word for word. That, that is word for word my first and last meeting with John Ford. Speaker 2 I don’t think about every frame I take, I, I remember that story. Um, I, I’ll end by just asking, I, I imagine The Fabelmans was just an extraordinary capstone. I was there in Toronto when you premiered it, when your sisters stood up. Speaker 1 Yes. Speaker 2 Uh, a movie unlike any you had made. The transition from, I imagine after that, it’s, it’s a, it’s a hard question. What do I do next? Speaker 1 It was, it was the, it was the hardest question I ever had to ask myself because there was such completion, uh, uh, in resolving so many personal issues that I’ve never aired in public before The Fabelmans. And I didn’t care whether people thought The Fabelmans was just a, a tale, a yarn, or whether they, they cared that it was actually all true. I didn’t care about that. It was something I did for myself. I always used to say it was $40 million of therapy that I didn’t have to pay for. Universal did, but, um, but it was, it was something that I needed to, to, to make when I made it. I couldn’t have made it a year before, and I couldn’t have made it a year after. It was something that had to happen. It wouldn’t have happened without Tony Kushner, who prodded me during West Side Story to tell that story, and wouldn’t leave me alone until I sat with him and wrote it. Speaker 2 And, and this came along and, and, and you after, after a little bit of a break. Speaker 1 Yeah. As usual, I DO think they will soon roll out the aliens….only I don’t think they’ll be aliens at all. I think they will be finally exposed as the disembodied Nephilim a/k/a “demons”. As usual, we’re sometimes early but we’re often right on the money with our reporting. So I think Elon is correct and telling the truth when he says he doesn’t see any evidence of Aliens when he looks out in Space….and yet, something is clearly happening. The sightings are increasing. They don’t seem to all be fakes. We have a VAST rise in technology since the 1940s and the alleged alien crash in Roswell, NM. Suddenly technology starts accelerating at a rate we have never seen before in history. A pace that suggests perhaps it’s less organic discovery and more reverse engineering of advanced technology. Remember, these people ALWAYS tell you what’s coming before it happens. I don’t know why, but it seems to be written into their rules that they have to tell you what they do before they do it. So we have all the EVIDENCE of aliens, we have Jack Dorsey Tweeting about Aliens, we even have Tucker Carlson doing shows on Aliens and saying he’s been given evidence they exist….and yet, I also think Elon Musk is right when he says he sees no evidence of them in Space. How can both be right? Simple: because they aren’t “aliens” and they aren’t coming from Space. They are the disembodied Nephilim coming straight out of Genesis 6:4. It’s right in your Bibles folks, look it up! It starts in Genesis 6:4 and then continues throughout the entire Old Testament! And they don’t come and go from “Space”. They come and go from different dimensions that we can’t see. That’s why they can appear and disappear in what looks to us like a flash. If you’re thinking I’ve lost it, stick with me and I’ll tie it all together for you, with Bible references and all. Stay with me! I don’t want to get too bogged down with science and dimensions, but the jump from 2D to 3D will help you understand 3D to 4D: This one is even better and goes deeper (still only 5 minutes)… Take a look: Totally fascinating, but enough with that. Back to what ARE these things? I contend they are not “Aliens” in the sense that they come from some other planet in the Universe. And Elon Musk is telling you the same thing. I actually think it has much more to do with 2 Thessalonians 2, Matthew 24 and Genesis 6 than “Space”. Do you know what those verses say? 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 describes the coming Great Deception: 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. Matthew 24:24 says even the elect will be deceived (if that’s possible): 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. I believe those two go together, and I believe they both date back to Genesis 6:4: 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. There is a LOT of debate over this verse, but here are a couple truths… Until very recently in church history, this was very commonly understood to have the plain-face meaning it has when you read it, namely, that (fallen) Angels left Heaven, came to Earth, violated God’s law by having children with the women, and that mix of Angel and Human DNA created Nephilim — these kind of Giant creatures. And after Genesis 6, what do we see referenced all throughout the Old Testament? Giants. Once you understand that basic foundational fact (which is why it’s so early in the Bible in Genesis) then the entire rest of the Old Testament makes sense. The Old Testament constantly talks about races of Giants…the Anakim, the Rephaim, and many others. Remember Goliath? He wasn’t just tall like Shaq, he was a Nephalim descendent. And this answers one of the biggest confusions and trip-ups for most people when reading the Bible…. They start reading along and all is going good and then God orders Israel to kill everyone in one of these giant tribes. Seems harsh. Seems kind of like genocide. Until you realize this was a corrupted DNA chain. These were not fully human, they were Nephilim and the Nephilim hated humanity.  Killed humanity.  Wanted to wipe out humanity. Now do you see why God ordered them to be wiped out when Israel would win a battle? But after the panic, then the questions will start. Where did they come from? Who created them? Did God create them? Do they have their own God? A different God than anything we have here on Earth? The Church will ask: do they need to be Baptized and converted? You know they’ve already started having those talks, right? Sounds like a Great Deception to me. So I think Elon is right: he sees NO evidence for Aliens in Space. But I think the Nephilim have been here and I think they’re coming back and I think they will be labeled as “Aliens” and all Hell will break out when that happens (literally and figuratively). Even Ronald Reagan talked about it years ago. Remember this? Here’s Reagan talking about how an alien invasion would suddenly “unite” all of earth, remember this? And what does the Bible say about Jesus and his return? Essentially, that all of Earth is united against Him. Starting to see the puzzle pieces fit together? Once you understand Genesis 6:4, the rest of the Bible starts to make a lot more sense. But that’s not just my opinion…. Here’s Jonathan Cahn telling you the same thing! Jonathan Cahn And The Genesis 6:4 Connection! Jonathan Cahn was on Greg Hunter’s show recently to talk about his new book “The Return of the Gods”. And when you first hear that you might think Cahn has lost it! And so has Noah for covering this! Other Gods? Doesn’t that violate the First of the Ten Commandments? Yes, of course. There is only one creator God. But there are many fallen Angels who corrupted humanity and if your guard is already going up just read Genesis 6:4. In fact, it’s a topic I’ve been covering for over 5 years now, and I’m so glad to see Jonathan Cahn now explaining it as well. Five years ago when I reported on this, almost no one had heard of the Nephilim. No one understood Genesis 6:4. No one understood the true meaning of the “Giants” in the Old Testament. But now it’s all coming out, and Jonathan Cahn is blowing the lid off it. Here’s a quick summary from Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog: Six-time, best-selling author and renowned Bible expert Jonathan Cahn has written a new book explaining the chaos and upheaval going on all over the world today. In a word, evil is trying to take hold of our world. Cahn’s book, “The Return of the Gods,” shows how demons and false gods are trying to repossess America. Cahn explains, “Evil is evil, and it’s manifesting in so many all across our culture—in every way. It involves falsehoods, it involves lies and changing morality on sexuality. It involves everything. Two thousand years ago, this is all they had. It was possessed back then. So, when Jesus sent the Gospel into the pagan world, it was a clash of spirits and principalities of gods. There is the One True God, and then there are the false gods. The Bible says we do not war against flesh and blood. We are not against people. We war against principalities. So, when the gospel comes in, there is this huge war. The pagans are trying to kill the Christians or you worship our gods. That’s why they were trying to kill them because Christians would not worship the gods. It was a war of the gods, but at the end of the day, the Gospel prevailed and the gods departed. The temples were emptied out. The shrines were abandoned. The gods of the ancient world were gone, but we are not just talking about gods, there are spirits behind them—demonic spirits. They don’t end, they stay there. So, the question is what would happen if the gods or the evil spirits returned to America and returned to the world? The fact is they have returned. . . . If western civilization was possessed by the evil spirits, the Gospel got rid of them. It was the greatest exorcism in history. What happens if that nation ever turns away from God? If it ever opens the door? These spirits are coming back. These ancient spirits or principalities are going to come back to our culture, to the West and to America, and they are going to come back to repossess it. They will repossess America. If you want to understand what is happening to America, it is this.” Cahn gives several mind-blowing examples of the evil spirits “repossessing” America. Evil is in every aspect of life, and it starts in the schools, to the child sacrifice of abortion. Cahn says, “Evil always goes after the children.” The evil spirits are helping people to “self-destruct,” according to Cahn. How do we stop this? Cahn says, “The only thing that can save America is turning back to God. The only thing that can save America is revival. It doesn’t look likely, but God is not what looks likely. He is into surprises. People did not expect Donald Trump to be President. That was a surprise. The day I finished the book, “The Return of the Gods,” was June 24th. That was the day the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. . . . So, there is hope. As long as there is God, there is hope. . . . The question is what are we going to do about it? Are we going to be timid and let them cancel us out? Or, are we going to be bold and spread the word like the apostles did in the first century? That is what drove the gods (aka evil spirits) out. I’ve been warning you for a couple years now, but recently Clif High just sounded the alarm too. Let me start off by saying Clif High does not come from a Christian worldview. In fact, in his latest video he explains how he is “Cathari” which is something I had not heard of before. It sounds similar to Christianity, but many notable and large divisions. That said, I still find Clif to be endlessly fascinating, and his research is unparalleled. And I note that the Bible does not teach us to not interact with people of other faiths… In fact, when Paul visited Athens, Greece in the Book of Acts, he finds a completely pagan culture made up of many gods. What does he do? He engages with them and shares truth with them. From Acts 17:23: For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you. So to everyone who says I should not engage with Clif or not cover him, I reject that. I choose instead to add my perspective (which I believe is a Biblical perspective) to the conversation. Back to Clif… Over the years, he has had many things listed in his ALTA Reports that sounds absurd at the time he predicted them, only to have them happen nearly exactly. I’ve covered many of those before, so I would dig into that again here, other than to note he predicted the fall of the U.S. dollar and the fall of the Federal Reserve, both of which we are currently witnessing happen right before our very eyes. We are living through a new Bretton Woods and most people don’t even realize it. But what I want to talk about right now isn’t financial….it’s spiritual. And I think Clif is exactly right. Clif predicts through his data mining work that something big is coming that will deceive many. Sound familiar? The Bible calls it the Great Deception. The most common expectation is that it will include the discovery or “unveiling” that aliens are indeed here and among us. Can you imagine that chaos that will cause? Many expect it will be the last card the Deep State will play, because it is the absolute last card they have. Many expect they will use Project BlueBeam. Others think they will truly unveil aliens. But I want to give you my take, so you are not caught off guard… Do you know what the Bible says? Do you know the Bible actually addresses this? It’s true. It’s right in your Bible only six chapters in, but many have never read it. It’s in Genesis 6:4 when the Bible says the Sons of God came and had children with the Daughters of Men and they became Giant. Let me translate… The Sons of God are angels (fallen angels), the daughters of men are human women, they produced children and as you can imagine the hybrid beings were huge….giants! The Bible calls them Giants or Nephilim. The Fallen Angels are called Sons of God at times in the Bible… The Book of Enoch calls them The Watchers. The Sumarian Tablets call them the Anunaki. But when you suddenly see the aliens announced and revealed, do not be caught off guard.  You must know this is in your Bible. Yes, the real, normal Bible. It’s all in there, look it up! You know what else? Once you understand that basic foundational fact (which is why it’s so early in the Bible in Genesis) then the entire rest of the Old Testament makes sense. The Old Testament constantly talks about races of Giants…the Anakim, the Rephaim, and many others. Remember Goliath? He wasn’t just tall like Shaq, he was a Nephalim descendent. And this answers one of the biggest confusions and trip-ups for most people when reading the Bible…. They start reading along and all is going good and then God orders Israel to kill everyone in one of these giant tribes. Seems harsh. Seems kind of like genocide. Until you realize this was a corrupted DNA chain. These were not fully human, they were Nephalim and the Nephalim hated humanity.  Killed humanity.  Wanted to wipe out humanity. Now do you see why God ordered them to be wiped out when Israel would win a battle?
