Hillary Clinton Turns On Joe Biden: ‘He Made A Terrible Mistake’

When it comes to running a disastrous campaign for president, few have more experience than Hillary Clinton. That’s why it’s even more embarrassing for Joe Biden that the latest criticism of his dead-on-arrival 2024 re-election bid came from the two-time White House loser. The Hill reported on Clinton’s recent remarks: “He made a terrible mistake. He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country. He had said that he would not run again, and you know, counterfactual narratives are always a bit tricky, but I believe if he had kept to that plan and said in, say, the late summer of ‘23 that he wasn’t going to run, that he was going to pass, you know, the torch to the next generation, we would have had a real contest,” Clinton told The New Yorker’s David Remnick in a conversation. “And, very sadly, I believe whoever emerged from that contest, whether it was the vice president or a governor or a senator or anybody else, would have beaten Donald Trump. So, I think it was a terrible miscalculation on the part of President Biden,” she added. Clinton is the latest to weigh in on whether Biden should’ve run for reelection.  In her memoir release last fall, former Vice President Kamala Harris called the decision an act of “recklessness.” Harris, of course, would also know a thing or two about how to run a losing presidential campaign. Clinton’s remarks drew more than a few snarky social media reactions: And your language that you use against the Republicans during the 2016 election, what’s the ugly road that was created by you and it has been in place ever since the word the language is the way you treated Republicans is what’s on display now you created a historical ugliness — Chris Bender (@ChrisBende37719) June 16, 2026 She’s an expert on terrible mistakes — SM (@Scottymcmahon22) June 16, 2026 For those in the back:“We should’ve coup him earlier” — Ron (@Spacedogonmoon) June 16, 2026 Here’s some additional coverage of Clinton’s remarks, per KATV: She argued in an interview with New Yorker editor David Remnick that Democrats could have defeated President Donald Trump if Biden had stepped aside and passed the torch to the next generation. “We would have had a real contest,” Clinton said. “And very sadly I believe whoever emerged from that contest, whether it was the vice president or a governor or a senator or anybody else, would have beaten Donald Trump,” she continued. “So I think it was a terrible miscalculation on the part of President Biden.” And here’s a longer clip: What are your thoughts?
