It’s a bummer! But we see him getting help from Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and also saving MJ (Zendaya) even though she’s not quite sure who he is. There’s also an enemy who jumps from mind to mind that no one can see… except Peter. Here’s the official synopsis that spells everything out: It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them. The movie comes from director Destin Daniel Cretton, who also worked on Wonder Man and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The script comes from Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers and Justin Kuritzkes, and you can see it in theaters starting on July 31, 2026.
