Police in New York City said an armed man set off an “incendiary device” outside a Manhattan federal building in what’s being investigated as a possible act of terrorism. According to ABC News, video footage showed the suspect pouring some type of flammable liquid outside the building and then setting it on fire. “Authorities say the person in custody is believed to be a protester with a history of anti-ICE activity,” ABC7 New York stated. Three people, including two firefighters, suffered minor injuries during the incident and were taken to an area hospital, sources said. The Jacob K. Javits Federal Office Building is home to New York’s ICE field office in Manhattan as well as offices for the US Department of Homeland Security, immigration court and other federal agencies.
