Tucker Carlson Reveals Who He Likes For Vice President
Although former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has frequently been tabbed among the frontrunners for Donald Trump’s running mate‚ the political commentator revealed who he thinks would be a good choice.
Carlson said at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest event that he likes presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to fill the role.
“I kind of like Vivek‚” Carlson said.
“Everyone beats up on Vivek for being ‘he’s a phony’ and all this stuff. I don’t know‚” he continued.
“I’ve covered a lot of campaigns going back to 1992 and I’ve noticed this in many candidates and I noticed it in him‚” he added.
“The process of running for president and speaking three times a day and having people throw hostile questions in your face causes you to change‚ they all change during these campaigns for real‚ inside‚” he continued.
“And I feel like Vivek’s positions have gotten much more sincere since the beginning of this‚” he added.
“I watch him with Nikki Haley and I’m like this is a guy who’s very offended by her views for real‚ he’s not attacking her because she’s a woman‚ he’s attacking her because he actually thinks her views are terrible for the country he lives in and I love that‚” Carlson added.

Zero Hedge reports:
Carlson sat down with Ramaswamy in October‚ where the two discussed how best to avoid World War 3.
According to Ramaswamy‚ America needs to “remember the mistakes we have made in our own past‚ in the last 20 to 25 years after 911‚” adding “How did we end up in $6 trillion plus of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thousands of American lives that we won’t get back.”
“Part of how we ended up there was in the era after 9/11‚ you remember it‚” he continued. “The tolerance for debate was very limited. Shut up. Sit down and do as you’re told. Go along with the plan.”
According to Ramaswamy‚ the “elephant in the room” is the West’s lack of clearly defined objectives – without which there could be chaos.
“This a time to have a clearly defined objective. Instead we get histrionics from the likes of Lindsay Graham‚ or Nikki Haley or Mike Pence‚ offering histrionics at a time when we could use actual strategy‚” he continued – to which Tucker replied: “Isn’t it amazing to get a moral lecture from people who’ve so diminished our country‚ and who are responsible for the deaths of so many Americans‚ lecturing you‚ from some high horse.
Ramaswamy continued: “What’s a better alternative to the plan as it currently exists‚ which is a non-plan‚ an invasion of Gaza without a clear objective?” he said‚ adding “We seem to analyze the mosquitoes on the elephant’s tail without talking about the actual elephant.”

Despite the push for a Trump-Carlson ticket‚ it appears the former Fox News host would rather steer away from jumping into politics.
WATCH: Tucker Carlson RESPONDS To VP Rumors
Famed broadcast journalist and news host Tucker Carlson has responded to rumors that he could‚ potentially‚ be a running mate alongside President Trump in 2024. Newsweek provided this statement from Carlson:
“I don’t think I have any like horrible skeletons or anything‚” he added.
“It’s not that‚ it’s just that that’s not how my brain works. I’ve never done anything like that.
I can’t imagine spending time with politicians.”
So that’s a resounding no from the incredibly popular‚ some might say revolutionary‚ media personality‚ which is a huge shame‚ though understandable.
The news personality recently launched a new media venture and will presumably be focused on this new project and not politics.
I wish he would change his mind on this‚ I think America needs a man like Tucker in politics‚ but‚ of course‚ he is likely too moral of a man to enter the dirty game. Carlson recently explained his position to host Megyn Kelly:
On Tuesday night‚ our very own Patrick Bet-David participated in a Space on X with several co-hosts and got clarity from Tucker Carlson about the vice president rumors. https://t.co/miN7mWSk57

Just now during the X Space‚ Tucker Carlson admits that he doesn’t think he would make a good Vice President‚ says “you should stick to things that you like and that come naturally to you.” Says he doesn’t see himself “doing anything like that.” Fair. An honest man.

According to The Hill‚ President Trump had this to say about Carlson in a prior interview:
“I like Tucker a lot; I guess I would‚” Trump said during an appearance on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” this week.
“I think I’d say I would‚ because he’s got great common sense.”
“You know‚ when they say that you guys are conservative‚ or I’m conservative — it’s not that we’re conservative‚ we have common sense.
We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall‚ because walls work.”
