Bond Star Teri Hatcher Says She’s Done With Online Dating
Bond star Teri Hatcher said she’s done with online dating — after being kicked off one of the major dating platforms because they simply didn’t believe it was actually her.
During the 59-year-old actress’ appearance on “Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone” podcast‚ Hatcher said she was “open and vulnerable” to trying to find a good man on the Hinge dating app‚ but things did not go as planned.
“IÂ tried Hinge. I thought‚ you know‚ I’m gonna say to the universe that I am open and vulnerable and I’m putting myself out there‚” Hatcher said.
“That’s what I thought my gesture of joining the Hinge app would be‚ and then they kicked me off‚” she added. “They thought I was pretending to be Teri Hatcher.”

“I complained. I was like‚ ‘Can I have my money back? You can kick me off‚'” the “Desperate Housewives” star continued. “Anyway‚ they apologized.”
The actress said it was when she asked for a refund on her subscription the company revealed they thought her account was fraudulent‚ but then “figured it out.”
Despite the whole incident being resolved‚ the “Tomorrow Never Dies” star said she’s “over it” and not going to use online dating apps to find a good man.
“I’m definitely done with the dating apps‚ and I feel like if there’s any way I’ll go somewhere and meet someone‚ that’s what it’s gonna have to be‚” Hatcher said.
She was then pressed about why she would not try other dating platforms‚ like the exclusive dating app Raya‚ and explained she’s tried several different dating platforms.
“There is‚ but those guys only want to date 30-year-olds‚ so‚ there is that fancy app you’re talking about‚” Hatcher replied.
“I don’t meet people. I don’t meet anyone‚” she added. “If you come up with someone‚ let me know.”
“Honestly‚ I’m happy. I have a really full life‚ a really busy life. I have beautiful friends‚ you know. It’s fine‚” Hatcher continued‚ joking‚ “I don’t need a man — I have a cat.”
Hatcher was previously married to Marcus Leithold from 1988 to 1989‚ before she tied the knot with Jon Tenney in 1994. The two divorced in 2003 and they share 26-year-old daughter‚ Emerson.
