The folks at Fox News share more here:
Two men face murder and other felony charges in connection with gunfire outside of Union Station last Wednesday. Dominic M. Miller‚ 18‚ of Kansas City‚ and 22-year-old Lyndell Mays of Raytown each face second-degree murder charges‚ two counts of armed criminal action and the unlawful use of a weapon.
They are each being held on $1 million bail.
“We seek to hold every shooter accountable for their actions on that day. Every single one‚” Jean Peters Baker‚ the Jackson County Prosecutor‚ told reporters at a news briefing.
More people are likely to be charged‚ Baker said.
Prosecutors believe Mays was in a verbal argument with another person that he had no connection with. The argument quickly escalated and Mays drew a handgun‚ Baker said.
“Mays pulled his handgun first‚” she said.
Miller then drew his handgun‚ authorities said. He is believed to have shot Lisa Lopez-Galvan‚ a local radio disc jockey and mother of two children‚ who died from her injuries.
It appears that the shooting wasn’t a targeted mass shooting but rather the result of two individuals fighting one another.

ABC News shares more on the story:
Mays told police “that he drew a gun first‚ in a crowd of people with kids‚ picked one of the individuals in the group [he was arguing with] at random‚ and started shooting‚ all because they said‚ ‘I’m going to get you’ and to him‚ that meant‚ ‘I’m going to kill you‚'” the probable cause affidavit said.
Mays said he fired two shots and said other people started shooting after he did‚ the court document said.
Miller said after he heard gunshots and saw a man shooting at him‚ he returned fire‚ according to the probable cause statement. Miller said he estimated he fired four to five shots‚ according to court documents.
When police asked Mays why he “advanced” on the other group in the first place‚ Mays “replied‚ ‘Stupid‚ man. Just pulled a gun out and started shooting. I shouldn’t have done that. Just being stupid‚'” the probable cause affidavit said.
“When reminded that the person Lyndell Mays was shooting at was running away from him‚ Lyndell Mays replied‚ ‘I know‚'” the probable cause affidavit said.
What an idiotic development in this story.
To learn that a simple verbal dispute caused such a tragic event.
I pray that the family of the victim and all of those injured in the attack can find peace and recover quickly.
