News First Omen Latest Trailer for The First Omen Gives Us More Nuns and More Devilry And 666 tattoos galore! By Vanessa Armstrong | Published on March 12‚ 2024 icon-comment 0 Share New Share Twitter Facebook Pinterest RSS Feed We’ve got a second trailer for The First Omen (check out the first one here‚ if you so desire)‚ and it suggests (unsurprisingly) that the prequel to The Omen is full of religious-infused horror. The new clip starts off with a woman being strapped down to a table surrounded by a pack of doctors in surgical gear. (Content warning if that’s something you want to avoid seeing.) From there‚ we move to a convent in Rome‚ where an American nun named Margaret is trying to connect with a girl named Carlita. The church‚ we are told‚ is raising Carlita to be the vessel for the devil. Margaret is warned that bad things‚ perhaps even evil things‚ will start to happen around Carlita. It’s also hinted that that the Catholic church is totally fine with this‚ since Carlita‚ who is eventually going to birth pure evil‚ will be a way for them to maintain power. Happy times! The movie stars Nell Tiger Free (Servant)‚ Tawfeek Barhom (Mary Magdalene)‚ Sonia Braga (Kiss of the Spider Woman)‚ Ralph Ineson (The Northman)‚ with Charles Dance (Game of Thrones)‚ and Bill Nighy (Living). It’s directed by Arkasha Stevenson and written by  Tim Smith &; Arkasha Stevenson and Keith Thomas‚ with the latter directing the 2022’s questionable reboot of Firestarter.
