The thriller‚ which currently has the title Control‚ has had James McAvoy (pictured above in X-Men: Days of Future Past; other credits include Split‚ Glass‚ and His Dark Materials) on board to star for about a year‚ and today Deadline broke the news that Julianne Moore (May December‚ The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2) will be joining him on screen.Control is a clock-ticking thriller where a troubled doctor (McAvoy) wakes up one morning with a mysterious voice inside his head. The voice‚ perhaps from an untraceable device of some sort‚ mandates that McAvoys character do certain things or something very‚ very bad will happen (or maybe multiple bad things will happen its unclear). We dont know much about Moores character‚ though Deadline reports that she plays a pivotal character with which the doctor must contend.The film enters production in Berlin this month and is spearheaded by StudioCanal and The Picture Company. Robert Schwentke‚ whose previous credits include The Time Travelers Wife‚ R.I.P.D.‚ and the adaptations of Insurgent and Divergent‚ will direct. Read into that what you will.
