86-year-old Jane Fonda has not slowed down in her 65 years in showbiz. On Wednesday‚ Fonda attended the TIME Earth Awards Gala‚ and this time‚ she was seen joined by her granddaughter‚ 21-year-old Viva Vadim. Fonda’s first marriage was to screenwriter Roger Vadim Plemiannikov‚ to whom she was wed from 1965 to ’73. Together‚ they had Vanessa Vadim‚ who had Viva with music artist Matt Arnett. Already‚ Viva has shown Fonda’s devotion to climate activism‚ and Fonda cites her grandchildren as a main reason for her own dedication to protest. The gala honors individuals dedicated to “climate justice‚” a cause Fonda has championed at several protests over the years. She wore her gray hair in loose‚ styled waves around her face. Besides Fonda‚ Viva wore a plain black dress and comfortable heels. Her own dark hair was tied back and her outfit was accented by modest‚ shimmering jewelry. The two were seen holding hands as they posed for pictures.
