Disabled animals come in all shapes and sizes. The people who offer them homes are a rare breed of caring and compassionate humans. Such is the case with a sad, blind cat named Archie. His owner makes candles and wax melts, so her office workspace is a no-cat zone. Archie is a lap cat, and Mom is his favorite lap. Although she can never guarantee that it is cat-hair-free, she does try. Watching Archie try to get through the gate daily was breaking her heart. Her solution was rather genius. Archie’s mom built a tunnel from the gate to the center of the room using readily available items from Amazon and other retailers. At the end of the tunnel, a small tent with blankets and comfy spots for Archie to rest is set up. The tent is small and crowded when JoJo, the cat, visits. JoJo is a bit on the chonky side.
