Cook one delicious basic meal from scratch. If it doesn’t work out so well, try again. c. Create a target list of ingredients to create meals for a one-week menu made from the basics. Two weeks if you are really motivated. d. Calculate the amounts you need for your target goal. 2 weeks? 1 month? 3 months? More? e. Make a shopping list and start stocking up. Basic Goolosh Over Rice 1 pound hamburger 1 onion chopped (or 1/4 cup dried onions) Brown hamburger and onions. Season with garlic salt and pepper while cooking. Drain fat. Then add: 1 can corn (with liquid) 1 can green beans (with liquid) 1 can tomatoes with chiles 1 can kidney beans (drained and rinsed). Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over hot steamed rice or pasta.
