Equestrian Shares Silly Way Her Horse “Catfishes” People While At Shows
Percheron draft horses are the fourth largest breed of horse. They are bred for work and originate from La Perche, France, about 50 miles south and west of Paris. They are a gentle, albeit giant, breed with sweet dispositions and perfect for dressage, general riding, or pulling a heavy load. Every horse’s personality develops, with little quirks and perks that delight their owners. For TikTok user Booo Deakin, her horse Cracker loves shows, but he becomes a bit of a catfish in public.

Cracker was born as a solid brown Percheron. As he grew, he metamorphized into a beautiful, dappled gray. His muscles filled out, and now he is a beautiful horse in and out of the show ring. They had their first show in 2022 after many coaching and riding lessons and learning to work together.
Cracker wasn’t sure about these shows initially, but he has grown to love them. Commenter kaceydickman says, “Drafts are such goofy goobers,” and she couldn’t be more correct. Cracker seems to use downtime at shows to develop his horse catfish persona — at least when he’s not giving his mom a heart attack.

Yes, you can hear him snoring! As you can see, with a visit to Booo Deakin’s TikTok channel, Cracker has developed quite a personality. He is a beautiful animal that offers Booo hours of fun, love, and companionship.

The 2024 Show Season ended early for the pair, but they had a successful time in the ring. Training and showing a horse on the equestrian circuit requires hundreds of hours for horse and rider. They share a bond and must work together as a single unit.
Please share if you laughed about this horse’s catfish antics.
