Sierra Ferrell Announces Deluxe Edition Of ‘Trail Of Flowers,’ Releases New Version Of “The Garden”

Sierra Ferrell is dropping singles just days into 2025. The West Virginia native is still riding the high from the release of her sophomore record, Trail of Flowers, which came in at #4 on the Whiskey Riff's Top 40 Country Albums of the Year list. Ferrell also spent a good bit of 2024 on the road with Zach Bryan, along with her own headlining tour, and later this year, you can find her on tour with Post Malone. https://www.instagram.com/p/DEQzCnZS-Ho/ The Era of Sierra is moving from 2024 into 2025, and I am here for her to have time in the limelight. Sierra Ferrell is not only the queen of the Appalachian hippies, being authentically herself, but she's also an out-of-this-world talent. Ferrell is expanding on the talent showcased from her sophomore record, announcing today the deluxe edition of Trail of Flowers. The expansion of the record will be released on January 31st. The deluxe edition will highlight singles like her beloved unlreased take on the classic bluegrass tune "Don't Let Your Deal Go Down," but to kick things off, she shared a single version of her track "The Garden." "The Garden" first appeared on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbird & Snakes last year. This stunning song was featured alongside other artists, including Charles Wesley Godwin, Flatland Cavalry, Billy Strings, and more. While the song gained attention from The Hunger Games fans, it might have flown under the radar for some other fans, leading her to release a new single version of the track today. Ferrell does not miss, and the additions to the composition of the single version add so much to the song without diminishing her captivating vocals. The single amplifies the sound of pedal steel, piano, percussion, and strings while keeping the ballad silky and smooth. "I'll never have a garden again Where I fall to my knees and work with a lamp Now I'm just prayin' with two dirty hands I'll never, no, never have a garden again For the land, it can dry up and seasons will changeA weak love of falter and hearts rearrangedGardens need sunshine and gardens need rainAnd my tears are too salty to water the garden..." Oliver Bates Craven and Sierra Ferrell flawlessly incorporated her whimsical personality into this heartbreak ballad, a must-listen for the first Friday of the year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3trDjH6djw Sierra Ferrell Tour Dates 1/8 - Burswood, Australia - Burswood Park^ 1/10 - Tanunda, Australia - Peter Lehmann^ 1/11 - Waurn Ponds, Australia - Mt Duneed Estate^ 1/12 - Bowral, Australia - Centennial Vineyards^ 1/14 - Sydney, Australia - Enmore Theatre 1/16 - Melbourne, Australia - Forum Theatre 1/18 - Pokolbin, Australia - Bimbadgen^ 1/19 - Mount Cotton, Australia - Sirromet Wines^ 4/29 - Salt Lake City, UT - Rice-Eccles Stadium* 5/3 - Las Vegas, NV - Allegiant Stadium* 5/7 - San Antonio, TX - Alamodome* 5/9 - Arlington, TX - AT&T Stadium* 5/11 - Atlanta, GA - Mercedes-Benz Stadium* 5/13 - St. Louis, MO - Busch Stadium* 5/18 - Detroit, MI - Ford Field* 5/20 - Minneapolis, MN - U.S. Bank Stadium* 5/22 - Chicago, IL - Wrigley Field* 5/23 - Cumberland, MD - DelFest 5/24 - Philadelphia, PA - Citizens Bank Park* 5/26 - Toronto, ON - Rogers Centre* 5/28 - Hershey, PA - Hersheypark Stadium* 5/29 - Pittsburgh, PA - PNC Park* 8/28 - Morrison, CO - Red Rocks Amphitheatre! ^w/ The Teskey Brothers & Band of Horses *w/ Post Malone & Jelly Roll !w/ Nikki Lane
